WeSave is an online tool for helping you to assess, manage and reduce your energy and carbon footprint. Using the tool can help you reduce your bills and even start to make money from generating renewable energy. WeSave is free to use. It is for individuals and organisations alike. Click on the links to register. WeSave will ask you to collect and input information relating to energy use, transport, the building you occupy, the items that use energy in your building. By doing this over time and returning to the site you will build up a picture of your energy use and carbon footprint. Establishing this relationship is the first step to making reductions. The more detail you enter the better. WeSave will assess your information and create and energy report, making suggestions of how you can save and what you will save. If you want assistance you can download our guide. More detailed one to one assistance is available – just get in touch. WeSave can accredit your achievements on four levels working up over time to Platinum Accreditation. With WeSave’s assistance you’ll have your own Energy Management System. This is suitable for individuals, community groups, public or small business. WeSave will be recognised by funders and procurement teams as a benchmark for energy saving. WeSave gets really exciting when you use it in a community format. Get in touch and we’ll set up a WeSave Community for you - you’ll be able to see who’s doing what, and how you compare. We also have a variety of training sessions for you to help you get the most out of WeSave. Fill a room with people and we’ll fill them with inspiration and open the door to saving energy and reducing carbon footprints. WeSave is the inspiration of Marches Energy Agency. It has been developed with the support of a number of organisations, but on the most part it has been built up from our years of experience, wrestling with how to help people to help themselves, with assistance from volunteers, interns, and time donated by staff.
